1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the IQ Quest mobile application ("IQ Quest," the "App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use it. We are committed to protecting your privacy and have designed IQ Quest to work entirely on your device without sending your data anywhere.
By downloading or using IQ Quest, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
IQ Quest does not collect, store on our servers, or transmit any of the following:
- Personally identifiable information (such as your real name, email address, phone number, or postal address).
- Account credentials — the App has no sign-up, login, or user accounts.
- Location data (GPS or otherwise).
- Contacts, messages, call logs, or calendar data.
- Advertising identifiers or any data used for advertising or marketing.
- Analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking data.
IQ Quest does not require an internet connection to function and does not send any of your information off your device.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To make the game work and remember your progress, IQ Quest stores certain information only on your device using your device's local storage. This data is never uploaded to us or any third party. It includes:
- Game progress: levels unlocked, coins earned, medals collected, your IQ score, and category statistics.
- App settings: theme preference, sound and haptics (vibration) toggles, and timer speed.
- Profile name (optional): a display name you may choose to enter. You can leave this blank.
- Profile photo (optional): if you choose to set an avatar, the selected image is stored locally on your device for display inside the App only.
Because this information lives only on your device, it is removed when you clear the App's data, use the in-app reset option, or uninstall the App (see Section 8).
4. Device Permissions
IQ Quest requests a limited set of device permissions, each used solely to provide a specific in-app feature. We do not use these permissions to collect or transmit data.

5. How Your Information Is Used
The on-device information described in Section 3 is used exclusively to:
- Save and restore your game progress and achievements.
- Remember your preferences and personalize your in-app experience (name and avatar).
- Operate core gameplay features such as scoring, levels, and rewards.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the game on your device.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party. Because IQ Quest does not collect or transmit personal data, there is nothing for us to share. We may disclose information only if required to do so by law — however, as we do not hold any of your personal data on our servers, we would have no such data to provide.
7. Third-Party Services
IQ Quest does not integrate third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media SDKs. The App is distributed through app stores (such as the Google Play Store), and your download and installation are subject to that store's own privacy policy and terms, which we do not control.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We do not retain your data because we never receive it. All information is stored locally on your device, and you remain in full control of it. You can delete it at any time by:
- Using the Reset option within the App's Settings to clear progress and statistics; and/or
- Clearing the App's storage from your device's system settings; and/or
- Uninstalling IQ Quest, which permanently removes all locally stored data.
9. Children's Privacy
IQ Quest is a general-audience educational quiz game suitable for a wide range of ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or from any user, and the App does not include advertising, in-app purchases, social features, or external links that could expose children to inappropriate content or data collection.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the App complies with applicable children's privacy requirements, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families policy. 10. Data Security
Your information is stored within the App's private storage area on your device, which is protected by your device's operating system and any device-level security you have enabled (such as a passcode or biometric lock). Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of interception in transit. Please keep your device secure to protect the information stored on it.
11. International Users
IQ Quest processes all data locally on your device regardless of where you are located. No cross-border transfer of your personal data takes place because no personal data leaves your device.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version here. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App or on the relevant app store listing. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
